BrickRhodes was founded in 2024 by Austin Rhodes, a lifelong Lego enthusiast whose passion for brick building was reignited during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a renewed fervor for the hobby, Austin embarked on an ambitious city-building project in 2023, meticulously crafting and expanding his creation one brick at a time.
From the outset, Austin recognized the transformative power of lighting, seamlessly integrating illumination into his Lego masterpieces to bring them to vibrant life. However, he soon realized a scarcity of lighting resources for fellow building enthusiasts within his local Lego User Group (LUG) in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Driven by a desire to elevate the brick-building experience for others, Austin established BrickRhodes Lighting Company. This venture enables him to share his expertise and offer high-quality lighting solutions tailored specifically for Lego creations.
Currently, BrickRhodes products are exclusively available locally at The Painted Tree on Kingston Pike, catering to building aficionados who seek to breathe life into their architectural marvels through the magic of illumination.
